Borrowing cheaply the famous idiom “I think therefore, I am” from one of my spiritual ancestors and compatriots, René Descartes, I decided to start my online social life through this blog. I hope to share the little wisdom I have in learning and working with various technologies, development frameworks, operating systems and architectures as well as virally spread my passion for exploring new horizons and find new ways to approach and solve problems.

One topic close to my heart at the moment is actually the reason for this blog to exist. Blogging is transcending the power of self-expression, allowing one individual to reach and connect to others, constantly challenging the classical forms of media on a daily basis due to its independence from any form of editorial process. However blogging has evolved since its wide spread apparition at the beginning of this century (wow I feel old!) One of the major changes is that it has now claimed the role of becoming a personal portal to your online life as well as your business card, slowly replacing the old school resume for anyone working in the field of technology. Fewer and fewer blogs are just simple diary entries, this activity being replaced by other means such as Twitter, or other micro-blogging networks.

So here it is! I am breaking the silence and screaming out from the top of my binary lungs, ultimately re-born online after being silent all these years…
